As Summer comes to a close the Officers of the Plainfield Township Volunteer would like to take a moment to say Thank You to all of our members and their Families.
These people make the fire house what it is to be around and have fun training and fundraising, to doing the job we have to do for our community. As August came to a close we have had a busy few weeks from our Sportsman Raffle which was a lot of work to put together, but extremely fun at the same time, to the parade prep on all of our apparatus to participate in the Lookout Fire Company No. 1 Labor Day Parade! To our Jackpot Bingo coming up in Early September.
There is a lot of time spent organizing, cleaning, and polishing the apparatus to have the proper send off for summer and the hard work from our members shows!
We had a blast participating and are proud of coming away with the following 8 trophies, the other apparatus that our trucks went up against are nothing to glance over, we are in a lucky area with the equipped apparatus that is around us!
